Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of talk2format, a browser-based document formatting service operated by Qiao Sun as an independent software creator. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

talk2format lets you import supported documents, edit their presentation, request AI-assisted formatting, and export results. Automated output can contain errors, so you are responsible for reviewing a document before relying on or distributing it.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account and for having the rights to process any document you provide. You may not use the service to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malware, evade security controls, or interfere with the service or other users.

Credits, pricing, and payment

Manual editing is free. AI-assisted work and first-time document parsing use prepaid credits according to the pricing shown before purchase. Current packs are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. The payment provider shown at checkout may act as Merchant of Record and handles payment details, tax collection, receipts, refunds, and disputes under its terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Refunds and support

If a purchase is duplicated, credits are not delivered, or the service is materially unavailable, contact us with the receipt or transaction reference. Refund eligibility is assessed under applicable law and the Merchant of Record's policy. We aim to respond to support requests within three business days.

Ownership

You retain your rights in documents and other content you provide. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process that content at your direction. The service, interface, and underlying software remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We may change or discontinue features, but will not remove purchased credits without a valid operational, fraud, refund, chargeback, or legal reason. To the extent permitted by law, talk2format is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated Terms are published means you accept the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
